These are so photos from the Hope for Heroes event, the Kindness card project, and the annual coat drive this year that was helped by Coats for Colin!
Hope for Heroes is a program we created in 2018 to help provide for first responder families in need. Fire, Police, and EMS families that put their lives on the line everyday to protect and save ours are struggling, and this program is just one small way of being able to give back to them.
The Kindness Card Project, or as Braeden likes to say Kindness Kids… was created in 2016 by Braeden Edmunds. He was faced with someone who was rude and mean to him for no good reason, and rather than get upset, Braeden decided this person just needed to be reminded he was loved. So, Braeden and some of the neighborhood kids collaborated and created 250 cards the first year, 360 cards in 2017, and for 2018 they created 400 cards which were given out in local neighborhoods, restaurants, stores, and places all around Mooresville to remind people that they are important.
